SOUTH HOUSE

Over a year ago we had an idea for a tangible way to free people from debt.  Our goal was to raise money to purchase a house that would serve as a community house for people participating in an internship program we were referring to as the "Debt Free Leaders" program.  But really, it was just an idea with a big price tag on it and a lot of details to be figured out.

Ask and you shall receive.

This spring during our "Consumed" series some folks from D'VINE were prompted to make this idea a reality.  Fast-forward through 4 months of remodeling and you have what is now, "South House,"  a community house on W. Clifton Avenue in Uptown that is home to 4 interns (could be 5 - if there's another female out there interested) who are committed to getting out of debt, becoming better leaders, and pursuing God's will for their lives.

Below is an email from Anthony, one of  the interns, sharing a little bit about the house and some items they still need that you might be able to help with!

And mark your calendar for Sunday, October 12th.  The South House will be hosting the post-gathering outing at their place.  It will be a chance to meet the community and see what's happening there.
